During the course of the school year, the Music Parents organization, working together with Mr. Jones, engages in a variety of fund raising activities. The money raised supports the music program -- we help pay for instruments and music, bus and truck rentals for Band and Orchestra trips -- especially Band Reviews in the Fall, and so on.

eScrip®
One of the easiest things you can do to help raise money is join the eScrip® program.

It's free, it's easy, it doesn't cost anything... Even if you only shop at Safeway once a year...It helps us.
Moreover...get a neighbor or a friend or two to fill out a form. You do not have to have a kid in band to help us...
Our goal is to have as many participants as possible! Safeway is not the only merchant supporting this program; the eScrip signup form has more information.

There are three steps:

1. Join the eScrip program
2. Tell the eScrip program you want contributions to go to "Granada High School Supporters" (Group ID 5011524)
3. Tell the Granada Supporters that you participate in eScrip, and want to support the Granada Music Program

If you are new to eScrip, please download the eScrip signup form, fill it out, and return it to Mr. Jones (who will send it to the right place). This will take care of all three steps.

If you are already enrolled in eScrip, and wish to change your support to GHS Music, you need to do steps 2 and 3. Do step 2 yourself: go to the eScrip website and use their online system (click on "my eScrip") to change your designation to "Granada High School Supporters" (Group ID 5011524). Once you get in, there is a "Group Selection" link.

If this is your first time using the eScrip website to manage your "account" you will have to join their online system. The online system is simple and straight-forward.

For step 3, please also fill out and return the eScrip signup form (this tells the Granada Supporters you want to support Granada Music). Email Micki if you have more questions.

Granada Afghans are beautiful, warm, and always a popular item. We'll let you know, as soon as we know, when they are available. Priced at $45. A portion of the sales of these goes to the student's account. 2008 Order Form (PDF August 20, 2008).

A very pretty decorative item, suitable for hanging in a window or on a tree. Contains an image of Granada High School. Price to be determined. Makes a nice gift for Grandma!

Snack Shack
Volunteer to work the Snack Shack at sporting events (football games, etc.). Be sure to mention Granada Music when you volunteer. Contact Micki for further information.
